Description
This project developed the branding and communication for the Up & Down Festival, celebrating people with Down syndrome. Designed to combat social isolation and foster relationships, the festival provided a platform for participants to showcase their culinary skills and connect with others. Held in Bath, UK, the festival focused on experiences, inclusivity, and building a sense of belonging.
The festival's logo symbolized its positive message, with "UP" embedded in "DOWN" to highlight the uplifting nature of the event. Activities included culinary competitions, concerts, performances, and a VIP area for participants and their families. Marketing materials featured black-and-white photomontages with yellow and blue accents—the colors representing Down syndrome.
The event map and program brochure followed the same visual theme, guiding attendees through festival activities, including competitions and awards ceremonies. The UpDown Festival aimed to create lasting connections and a supportive community for individuals with Down syndrome
